Peanut Butter Freezer Fudge

Who knew mixing peanut butter and maple syrup would turn into fudge when you freeze it! Yes, there may only be two ingredients, but you do have to plan ahead. This delicious fudge needs to be really, really frozen, otherwise you’ll end up with soft and mushy fudge. So make a batch and leave it in the freezer until it gets solidly frozen. I love having this fudge hiding in the freezer for anytime I need a little sweet nibble.

Ingredients

1/2 cup peanut butter, no oil or additives
1/4 cup 100% pure maple syrup

Directions

  1. Whisk your peanut butter and maple syrup together in a bowl until they’re combined. Pour the mixture onto a sheet of parchment paper. Cover your peanut butter mixture with a second sheet of parchment paper and flatten it out with your hands.

  2. Place the flattened peanut butter mixture into a freezer bag and lie it flat in the freezer overnight or maybe for a few days. Longer is better.

  3. When it's nice and frozen, cut your Freezer Fudge into squares. I like to leave it in the freezer, wrapped up in the parchment paper, and nibble on it throughout the week.
