Makes about 1 ½ cups
Although hemp seeds do come from the cannabis plant, this creamy dressing won’t get you high. That being said, it’s rich, nutty flavor and nutritional boost may just make you high on life!

Ingredients

1 cup hemp seeds
5 tablespoons nutritional yeast
4 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 clove garlic, peeled and left whole
1/2 teaspoon sea salt, more to taste
5 turns freshly ground black pepper
3/4 cup water

Directions

  1. Blend all of your ingredients in a high-speed blender for about one minute, until smooth and creamy. You may need to stop to scrape the sides down a few times.

  2. The dressing will thicken as it sits, so you may need to add a bit more water to thin later.

Recipe Notes

Store in the fridge for up to a week.

This dressing is great for salads, over baked sweet potatoes, drizzled over rice bowls, and in wraps.

You may find hemp seeds sold as Hemp Hearts. Same thing!
