Combine all ingredients, except for the flax, hemp seeds, nuts and dates, in a jar with a tight-fitting lid.
Shake, shake, shake it up, to combine.
Refrigerate overnight. The following day, give it a good stir and add the flax, hemp hearts, dates and nuts!
To toast the nuts, place whole nuts on a baking sheet in a 375° F oven and let them cook for a couple of minutes. Check frequently, so the nuts don't burn. I like to do a 1/2 pecan, 1/2 walnut mix.
