Baked Pita Crunchers

Like our Crunchy Baked Tortilla Chips, the beauty of our Baked Pita Crunchers is that they are oil-free, yet crunchy and delicious! Once you make these and dunk them in hummus, you’ll never want oily, store-bought chips again.


3  100% whole wheat pitas, no oil
2 squeezes lemon
2 sprinkles sea salt


  1. The first thing you want to do is preheat your oven to 350° F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut each pita into 8 small triangles, just like you would cut a pizza.

  2. Grab a baking sheet, and spread the pita triangles around on the baking sheet so they are lying flat and not touching. Lightly squeeze some lemon over each one—don’t soak them—and sprinkle them with sea salt.

  3. Bake them for 15 minutes, or until crispy. Test one and if it’s still pliable, leave them in for another 5 minutes or so. You want them really crunchy.

Serve with Our Favorite Hummus, or throw them into salads for some added crunch!
