This week, we bring you our delicious Chicken-Style Soy curls two ways and a Depression Dish Caruso family favorite, that we’ve plant-powered!

We're talking about Stuffed Chicken-Style Pita Pockets, Loaded Chicken-Style Tostadas and our Pasta e Lenticchie with Italian Sausage Tofu Crumbles!


Our Stuffed Chicken-Style Pita Pockets make great sandwiches! The light and fluffy pitas are super stuffable so you can really load them up! We use whole wheat pitas, and spread them with Our Favorite Hummus for creaminess. We add our crispy Chicken-Style Soy Curls and all of the trimmings, then drizzle everything with our Lemon Tahini Sauce. So good!


Plant Based Stuffed Chicken-Style Pita Pockets
Pasta e Lenticchie (lentils) with Italian Sausage Tofu Crumbles, is a dish our grandmother used to make “back in the day”. In the 1930’s, feeding five kids during the Depression was no easy feat. She turned to inexpensive ingredients like pasta, potatoes, bread, and beans. Somehow, she turned these basic staples into Italian deliciousness! We top our plant-powered version with the Italian Sausage Tofu Crumbles and our Walnut Parmesan. We also like to hit it with the crushed red pepper for heat! Abbondanza!

For Taco Tuesday this week, try our Loaded Chicken-Style Tostadas! We want to make sure you have lots of options for this fun night of the week and are never bored with your tacos! This week’s offering brings soy curls into the mix. Have you tried them yet? They are dehydrated whole soy beans—no additives— and when you rehydrate them, add all of the right spices and crisp them up in a pan, the texture and flavor is incredible! The beauty of tacos in general is that you can get creative with all of the delicious components in our Recipe Box—our Pepper Jack Cheese, Nacho Crema, Jalapeño Lime Crema. Mix it up and add your favorites!
