We hope your weekend is full of fun, laughter, love and nourishing, delicious plant food!
Last week, we released an extensive Christmas menu. In our private group, we saw that many of you made and enjoyed some of those recipes this week, and will be having them again this weekend for your holiday meals.
Yay! That makes us really happy.

This week, we wanted to focus on a fun idea—something that you may want to do this week, or even for New Year’s Eve—we felt it was a great time for a PIZZA PARTY!

We have finally created a recipe for a delicious, thin, crispy, 100% whole grain and OIL-FREE pizza crust, to get the party started!
Introducing, our brand new
Thin and Crispy Pizza Crust! Along with that, we’ve created 3 creative and delicious pizzas for you to enjoy.
For the 3 Pizzas, we have:
BBQ Chicken-Style Pizza
Escarole Pizza⭐️
Pizza alla Puttanesca .

BBQ Chicken-Style Pizza
The idea for this pizza comes straight out of California Pizza Kitchen. This was my daughter’s very favorite pizza when she was a tween, and CPK was our Friday night hot spot. The idea of BBQ Sauce on a pizza never appealed to me very much, but I have to say, this pizza is amazing! First, we make our Sweet and Sassy BBQ Sauce—which is sweet with a nice smokiness. Next, we pan-sear and shred Soy Curls and coat them in the Sauce. We also make our delicious Smoked Gouda Cheese Sauce, and add red onions and the cilantro for a fantastic flavor combination!

Escarole Pizza
Have you tried escarole? It’s a leafy green that is not only delicious, but super nutritious! It looks like a head of Romaine with short, wide leaves. It’s typically sold right next to the lettuce, so it’s easy to miss. Escarole is in the bitter green family, so it’s a tad bitter, but that mellows out once you cook it. Escarole Pizza is a beloved family favorite! Our Aunt Lu always made it for holidays and we loved it. Her version had a top crust and it was stuffed with sautéed escarole, black olives and walnuts. It was delicious. For our version, we make our Thin and Crispy Pizza Crust, and top it with a generous helping of sautéed greens, black olives and our Almond Parmesan. Did I mention garlic? Yes, lots of garlic, just the way we like it.

Pizza alla Puttanesca
“Puttana" roughly translates to “prostitute” in Italian, so there is a theory that “Puttanesca” sauce was invented in a bordello in Southern Italy. Our bold and spicy Puttanesca Sauce is flavored with garlic, tomatoes, capers, tangy olives, fresh basil and parsley. Wow! It packs a powerful flavor punch, and takes only minutes to make. But first, we make our Thin and Crispy Pizza Crust which really is super crispy, oil-free  and amazing. We spread a generous layer of our Puttanesca Sauce over it, and then add dollops of our creamy Cashew Mozzarella and a sprinkling of Almond Parmesan. Homemade pizza heaven!

Thin and Crispy Pizza Crust
Well, after trying many, many, many times, we finally did it. We created a 100% whole-grain, no-oil crispy and delicious pizza crust! Inspired by one of our amazing members, and adapted from a recipe from Well Your World, we put our twist on the ingredients, used a special technique, and came up with a thin and crispy pizza crust of our dreams.
