We hope you had a safe and happy Thanksgiving! If you made some of the recipes from last week’s Thanksgiving Spectacular, make sure to drop by the Facebook group and post some photos for all of us to see. We love seeing your photos and hearing about your experiences!


This week, we wanted to keep things simple (after all of that holiday cooking!) so we’re including a few beloved favorites, which are easy to put together, along with a simple, light and delicious salad.

We’re talking about Crab-Less Cakes with Remoulade SauceQuinoa Tabouli Salad, and Burritos with Smoked Cheddar Cheese Sauce.

 

 Crab-Less Cakes with Remoulade Sauce
These little Crab-Less Cakes are soooooo tasty! Crab cakes were always a favorite of ours, and these light and crispy little Crab-Less Cakes really hit the spot! We use hearts of palm which are nice and flaky, garbanzo beans and green onions to make the cakes, and Old Bay seasoning to flavor them. Making the Remoulade Sauce is a must—we add it as an ingredient as a delicious binder, and it’s also a super fantastic topping.

Quinoa Tabouli Salad
Tabouli is a Lebanese salad that was created over 4000 years ago! Typically it’s made with parsley, tomatoes and bulgur wheat, but in our version, we use light and fluffy quinoa in place of the bulgur. We also add a super delicious and simple Tahini Dressing to the mix. Toss in some chickpeas or our Chicken-Style Soy Curls to make this scrumptious salad a meal. It’s also great stuffed into our Chicken-Style Pita Pockets and our Falafel Pitas, or served with Our Favorite Hummus and Baked Pita Crunchers.

Burritos with Smoked Cheddar Cheese Sauce
There is a new Cheese Sauce in town and it’s name is Smoked Cheddar! It’s our newest FLAVOR BOMB and we are wildly in love with it. There is something so satisfying about digging into a warm, cheesy burrito, especially when it’s stuffed with pintos, rice and our luxurious Smoked Cheddar Sauce. This burrito the bomb!
